The Gothenburg office opens
Logistic Contractor is founded and the first logistics facility is built. In the same year we start with project development within the Residential business area.
Turnover exceeds one billion SEK
The Varberg office opens.
Ownership is broadened when Jörgen Andersson, today a board member and chairman of the tender and investment committee, becomes a partner. The Stockholm office opens.
M2 Holding becomes the main shareholder and the original family of owners leaves the company.
Rekab's operations in the southern parts of Sweden are acquired and becomes Wästbygg's Malmö office. In the same year, the Jönköping office is also opened.
In addition, Logistic Contractor's Norwegian and Danish subsidiaries are established and Wästbygg Group's first project outside of Sweden is carried out in Norway.
A decision is made that the operations is to be fossil-free by 2030, within the areas of electricity, heat, transport and waste.
